DraCuLa tu WuJuD KeR??
Bagi aku makhluk jenis dracula nie.. (walaupon dalam hakikat sebenar hanya manusia yg beri nama.. makhluk tu sebenarnya syaitan atau iblis) bagi aku sangat misteri... tak takut sangat... tapi seriau... tak cam antu Melayu yang serammmm... hehehhe... dracula nie kan.. sebenarnyer wujud ker tak wujud hah?? (yerlarrr aku tau setan iblis tu wujud) Maksud aku yg dikatakan kumpulan dracula nie.. hisshhhh... sejarah dia... dari mana asal mulanya org discover pasal makhluk nie... (Raja Bersiung??) itu kat sini... ataukah Raja Bersiong migrate ke Eropah?? Hahahah.... ramai yang tahu masyarakat Melayu penuh ngan unsur superstitious.. tapi biler dikaji sebenarnya.. tiada kurangnya bangsa lain... buktinya seperti yg sempat di-google aku tadi..:
According to tradition, a vampire is a person who does not die, an "un-dead," whose corpse rises from the grave at night and seeks to suck the blood of the living. The vampire must return to the grave at dawn.
Excommunicated people, unbaptized children, criminals, babies born with teeth, witches, magicians, and the seventh son of a seventh son can all become vampires.
Various methods have been used to protect against vampires. Driving a stake of ash or aspen wood through the heart during the daylight hours will kill one. Until 1823, when it was made illegal, it was common practice in England to drive a stake through the heart of suicides. In Romania, red-hot bars were often used. The vampire's body whould then be burned or reburied at a crossroads.
In Eastern Europe, vampires are believed to be afraid of garlic. Farm animals can be rubbed with garlic to protect them, while garlic often hangs from doors and windows to keep vampires out. Anyone who does not like garlic can be suspected of being a vampire.
Thorns of wild roses will also keep vampires away. Because vampires are compulsive counters, poppy seeds are often tossed around cemeteries, so that when the vampire awakes, he will spend the night counting and be forced to return to the grave before dawn.
Vampires dislike mirrors and silver, so silver crosses or icons were frequently displayed in houses for protection.
Juga ini...
Belief in vampires and the power of blood is as old as mankind. Early man smeared himself in blood and sometimes drank it. The ancient Chinese, Egyptians, Babylonians, Greeks, and Romans all believed in vampires. The Jewish Talmud tells of Lilith, Adam's disobedient first wife, who was transformed into a monster roaming the night.
In the Americas, the early Indians of Peru believed in devil worshippers who sucked blood from sleeping youths to get their life, while the Aztecs sacrificed victims to ensure the sun would continue to rise, removing the beating hearts from their victims and holding them high in the air.
In Transylvania, with its blend of Hungarian, Romanian, and Gypsy beliefs, belief in vampires has been particularly strong. Orthodox Christians believe the soul does not leave the body for the afterlife until 40 days after burial. When an Orthodox Christian is excommunicated, or converts to another faith, it is said that the earth will not receive his body, forcing him to wander.
Some Mongolian peoples of Central Asia believe in the vampire and a bat god. Since Hungarians migrated to Europe from the steppes of Asia, it is probable they shared this belief. However, vampire bats, which fly at night and suck blood from animals, primarily oxen, are only found in parts of Mexico and Central America.
